UBS Global Wealth Management has announced the appointment of two new Client Advisors in the Private Client Team of the Jersey office.

After starting his career at the Bank of Scotland as a Customer Services Advisor, Chris Sutherland moved to Jersey in 2014 and joined HSBC as HNW Premier Client Manager and Relationship Director.

In 2022, Mr Sutherland then took on the role of Relationship Manager for International Private Clients at HSBC Global Private Bank.

Grant Hamilton, who has more than 30 years' experience in the banking and financial services industries, started his career at Standard Charted Bank in Jersey, before moving on to roles at Merrill Lynch, Schroders (CI) Limited, Rathbones Investment Management International and, most recently, Evelyn Partners International Limited.

He is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (previously ACIB), holds an Investment Advice Certificate, and is also a full chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (Chartered MCSI).

“On behalf of UBS, we’re thrilled to welcome Grant and Chris to the firm,” said Nick Mangan, Head of Wealth Management at UBS Global Wealth Management in Jersey.

We are delighted to grow our team with two highly qualified and experienced Client Advisors. Their industry experience and dedication to building and sustaining strong client relationships will be a great addition to our business, and we look forward to having both Chris and Grant help us continue to expand our client offering in this key market.”
