Robert Kirkby has joined the Board of Butterfield Bank (Jersey) Limited as a Director.
Mr Kirkby was an Advisory Partner at international accountancy firm KPMG Channel Islands, where he was responsible for a number of areas in the consulting business including transactions, digital, regulatory and strategy.
He was also the lead for KPMG across the international finance centres for risk and regulatory matters in the fund/trust and corporate sector.
Mr Kirkby currently serves for a number of organisations, acting as the Chair of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and a Non-Executive Director for Digital Jersey Limited.
His appointment was confirmed on 30 March, following no objection from the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Andrew Henton, Non-Executive Chair of the Board, said: "Robert is an experienced professional who brings a wealth of local and international knowledge.
