The School of International Financial Services has appointed a new Director, who joins following a career focused around cryptocurrency and financial crime.
Andrew Horbury joins from BPP, where he was Global Head of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency and a Senior Lecturer in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention.
“Andrew’s appointment represents a significant step in the expansion of SIFS, as we continue to deliver tailored and relevant training and education programmes to meet the needs of financial services businesses in the offshore markets,” said Helen Hatton, Executive Director at SIFS.
“Andrew is a well-known educationalist in the international finance centre sector. A respected lecturer in AML/CFT, blockchain, cryptocurrency and regulatory risk areas, Andrew will share subject matter expertise in addition to playing a leading role in developing our externally led CPD seminars and events.”
