NatWest has appointed the leader of its Institutional Banking business at RBS International to the role of Managing Director of Financial Institutions.
Stuart Foster first joined the NatWest Group more than two decades ago, going on to hold positions including Managing Director for Financial Institutions, Professional Services, Education and Charities, and senior roles in Large Corporate Banking, Real Estate and Structured Finance.
‘’It is an honour to be taking on this new role and it’s a fantastic opportunity to bring together our institutional customers across NatWest Group into a single franchise," Mr Foster said.
Paul Thwaite, Chief Executive Officer in Commercial and Institutional, added: “This appointment is thoroughly deserved and a testament to Stuart’s success at RBS International. It is also a reflection of the achievements of his team in growing the business in recent years. I’m looking forward to working closely with Stuart as we deliver the next phase of our strategy.’’
Mr Foster's successor at RBS International is to be announced in "due course", NatWest said.
