Barclays Wealth and Investment Management has appointed Kris Moors and Zena Whiteley to senior roles within the Jersey business.
Mrs Whiteley has taken up the post of premier relationship manager with a focus on local clients. She has worked for Barclays for 28 years in retail banking in Oxford and since her move to Jersey in 2000 she has worked with international premier clients, intermediaries and institutional clients.
She holds the Investment Management Certificate qualification and is the education officer for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Jersey branch. In her new role, she will be responsible for the pro-active management of a portfolio of local Jersey clients.
Mr Moors has been appointed to the offshore corporate team. He began his banking career taking part in a graduate scheme, where he undertook a number of retail and corporate roles around Birmingham and Coventry before joining Barclays corporate team for the Wolverhampton and Black Country area. His new roles sees him serving existing clients - and acquiring new corporate clients - who require banking and asset management services. He will have a special focus on emerging markets including the Middle East and India.

Our clients and customers need expert advice and exceptional service and we are really happy to be strengthening our team in this respect both for international businesses and local clients.”
