Around 300 marketing and communications professionals gathered at The Royal Yacht Hotel - a last-minute change from the Opera House. The inaugural black-tie pan-Channel Islands awards featured an awards ceremony, hosted by ITV news and sport presenter Murray Dron, followed by dinner and an after-party.
Steve Cartwright, Chairman of the Channel Islands CIM Branch, said: “The CIM has been hosting an awards event for 18 years in Jersey now, but this year’s CIM Awards took on a new look and feel. For 2015, not only did we reach out to our colleagues in Guernsey for the very first time, we also decided to create our own Channel Islands ‘Oscars’, giving Channel Islands marketers and communications professionals an opportunity to enjoy an evening of celebration with a presentation to Award winners and a fabulous after party to congratulate both our successful winners and finalists.
“As is reflected in the work of the winning organisations, there is so much creativity and innovation amongst the marketing community in the islands, and it is right we should have a chance to recognise that. Congratulations go to all this year’s winners and finalists.”
Sponsors and partners of the 2015 Channel Islands Marketing Awards included Delta Production Services, The Beach Communication, PBS Media, Coca-Cola, Jersey Evening Post and Guernsey Press, Switch Digital, Airtel-Vodafone and CIPR Channel Islands.
