Ocorian appoints new CIO

Ocorian has appointed Stuart Geddes as its new Chief Information Officer.

The company said that the creation of the CIO role is the consequence of its growing focus on digital transformation.

As CIO, Jersey-based Mr Geddes, who has been with Ocorian since 2016, will have responsibility for IT and digital requirements across the group.

He has previously worked in technology delivery for financial and professional services firms in London, Sydney and the Cayman Islands.

Carole Murphy, Ocorian’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “Stuart is a lynchpin of our business and I am extremely happy that he has received promotion to CIO. Clients’ expectations have shifted dramatically in recent years, especially in relation to technology and it is essential we constantly evolve our practices and systems to meet those needs as our business continues to undergo significant growth and digital transformation.

"Additionally, as a critical member of Ocorian’s Infosec committee, Stuart ensures that Ocorian sets the highest standards for information security and protection of our assets and data.”
