Ogier named Offshore Law Firm of the Year

Thursday 28 April 2016

Ogier has been named Offshore Law Firm of the Year 2016 by Chambers Europe.

At the awards ceremony on Friday night, the best law firms from all over Europe were recognised for their achievements.

Ogier’s Global Managing Partner Edward Mackereth said: “This accolade represents our achievements across each of our European offices. An award from industry experts Chambers, based on extensive interviews with our clients, intermediaries and peers, demonstrates the fact that we are standing out for both product and service quality.”

This award is the latest in a line of awards won by Ogier.

Last week the firm won the High Yield Deal of the Year Award at the IFLR European Awards 2016, as part of the team of legal advisers working on the ICBPI transaction.

The transaction was one of the largest in the European markets in 2015 and involved complex structuring and regulatory issues, with lawyers from a number of jurisdictions working together on the corporate, regulatory and financing aspects to a tight timeframe.
