Local law firm Parslows has advised Jersey Post in relation to its purchase of freight and delivery group Woodside Logistics.
Woodside Logistics has established warehousing and shipping depots and operations in Jersey, Guernsey and the UK, helping both domestic and commercial customers.
Jersey Post hopes the acquisition will help it extend its reach for imports and exports and provide more choice for customers.
David Hill, who leads the Parslows Jersey Post team, said: “Myself and the team at Parslows are delighted to have assisted Jersey Post again regarding their ambitious domestic and international strategy. It is a really positive move for Jersey Post and it also highlights the depth of services and expertise that Parslows can offer the Island as a whole both within and outside of the local market”.
Tim Brown, Jersey Post Group Chief Executive said: “The acquisition of Woodside Logistics enables us to complete our strategic objective of providing a unique end-to-end logistics solution for customers across the globe, it will also bring increased competition, greater choice and an enhanced freight service for our valued local customers.”
