Eight islanders have been selected from around 40 applicants to take part in Digital Jersey's first ever Tech Start-Up Bootcamp.
The Tech Start-Up Bootcamp was launched at the end of last year in collaboration with JT, PwC, NatWest International and TEKEX.
Applicants for the Bootcamp were from broad and diverse backgrounds with their digital businesses ranging from investment platforms and fintech products to digital health solutions, gaming apps and mental health technology solutions.
The successful applicants will benefit from a twelve-week program designed to explore and develop their digital business ideas through a combination of workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one sessions.
Seven local business will take part in the Bootcamp programme.
Those taking part in the Bootcamp include Tamsin Raine, Tom Titherington, Cameron Pirouet, Michael Butler, Jack Smith, Joao Oliveira, Elliott Lamb and Manthan Patel.
Digital Jersey CEO Tony Moretta said: “This is what Digital Jersey is all about – connecting people, collaborating, bringing together those who are shaping the future and giving them the tools they need to realise their ambitions.

What is it? An AI driven, interactive Mental Health companion app

What is it? Improve business and clinical efficiency of dental practices by extracting ‘dark’ data from dental practice management software.
Business: Not a Mortgage
What is it? A new home equity investment business, which aims to provide homeowners with a smart new loan alternative for tapping into their home equity without taking on debt.
