REVEALED: Jersey's rising finance stars

Tuesday 28 May 2024

Jersey Finance has announced the winners of its fifth annual Rising Stars Awards, after over 200 young islanders were nominated across 14 different award categories.

The winners were announced at a prizegiving ceremony at the Royal Jersey Showground on Friday 24 May.

This year saw the introduction of a new Insurance category.

The ceremony was introduced by Jersey Finance’s CEO Joe Moynihan, who highlighted the positive role Jersey’s young professionals play within the industry.

He emphasised the importance of supporting young local talent in order to maintain a sustainable and resilient future workforce on the island.

Mr Moynihan said: “[The Rising Star awards] are a fantastic opportunity for firms in Jersey to reward and recognise the young talent within our industry for outstanding achievements.

“The passion, commitment and dedication shown by these young professionals to both their employers and the community have really shone through, making them worthy winners".

He added: "As in previous years, the quality and volume of nominations meant that [the judges] had a hard job of choosing this year’s shortlist, I would personally like to thank them for their time and commitment to the awards.”
