Recruitment firm Rowlands has appointed a new consultant to its team.
Katie Stevens was previously Study Abroad Coordinator at Swansea University in Wales. The post involved matching students seeking exchange opportunities with partner placements across the world.
In her new role as a consultant, Miss Stevens will be responsible for facilitating Rowlands’ recruitment services by establishing relationships with both candidates and clients, and to continue to build on the company’s client portfolio.
As part of her role she will be working closely with graduate jobseekers returning to Jersey to understand their work needs and to assist them through the application process for relevant opportunities, including permanent work, temporary work and internships.
Jeralie Pallot, Managing Director of Rowlands Recruitment, commented: “We’re extremely excited to welcome Katie to Rowlands. The nature of Katie’s previous role has shown her passion for helping people to do what they love and her knowledge of graduates will be invaluable in her new job.”
Miss Stevens commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Rowlands and very much excited to work alongside clients and candidates to achieve positive outcomes. I hope to bring some unique perspectives to the role following my work alongside students in the UK, and I’m very much looking forward to settling in to Island life!”
