Royal Mash Vintage Vodka has signed a distribution deal that will see it stocked across 14 local supermarkets.
The deal with Fox Trading Ltd will see the hand-made vodka, which is produced from local potatoes, stocked in local restaurants and bars, as well as eight Wine Warehouse outlets in Morrisons and six Iceland branches.
The new vodka brand was created by trained chef Rachel de Caen and Peter Le Fol du Taillis, who are both Jersey residents. The Royal Mash logo is the crest of the Le Fol family, who were ennobled by Henry IV in 1594.
"We set out to make the best vodka imaginable," Ms de Caen said. "We live here on the beautiful island of Jersey which produces the only potatoes we know of to boast the equivalent of an ‘appellation d'origine contrôlée'.
"The combination of these finest of ingredients, brand owners with a vision, an expert Master Distiller, and a distillation process that creates the purest spirit, has resulted in a superior and memorable vodka."
