Specialist global provider of outsourced corporate and fund administration, reporting and fiduciary services firm Sanne, has welcomed 30 new trainees into the firm’s annual professional training programme.
Sanne’s professional training programme, which was launched in 2005, offers graduates and A-level students wishing to undertake a career in finance services a full financial and study support programme which results in a ACCA, ICAEW or ICSA qualification.
Trainees join one of Sanne’s specialist business divisions; private equity, private debt and capital markets, real estate, institutional, executive incentive or private client, and will work in one of the divisions’ fully integrated service teams which will offer a varied and challenging role. This hands-on experience is invaluable and will help to develop the trainees interpersonal skills and ability to use initiative to deliver to demanding timescales.
Each year the programme is over-subscribed and successful applicants often demonstrate a strong intellectual background and a focused and driven approach to work and study. At the end of the three year programme and having qualified, successful trainees will have an opportunity to continue to build on what they have learnt by continuing to further their career with Sanne.
Of the 30 new trainees in the Sanne’s 2015 programme intake, 21 trainees will be joining the Jersey office, five will be joining the London office, two will be joining the Luxembourg office and one the Ireland office. 2015 is the first year Sanne will be extending the programme to the Guernsey office, with our first trainee joining in September.
Kate Windall, HR Director at Sanne said: "Our professional training programme is one of our key differentiators. Investing constantly in the best calibre graduates and A-level students over the past ten years and helping to nurture them through our global training programme has been, and continues to be integral to our succession planning.
"Being able to continually attract quality candidates is also testament to the strength of our brand as people want to train, work and develop their careers with Sanne.
"This year we have even be able to expand the programme into Guernsey. This is fantastic as it has not been possible to offer the opportunity to graduates before, but due to the growth of our operations there, Guernsey has now become part of the programme locations."
Stephen Prosser, a trainee who started his professional training programme with Sanne in Jersey in 2009 and later qualified in 2012 with the ACCA qualification at the end of the three year programme, said: "The professional training programme at Sanne is great. It enabled me to gain an industry respected and appropriate qualifaction for a career in financial services, given me practical hands-on administration experience and fantastic opportunities to build a career with a growing business and strong brand name."
Stephen is now a Manager in Sanne’s Private Debt & Capital Markets division.
