State Street in Jersey has appointed Paul Mundy as head of alternative investment services risk management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Based in the Jersey office, he is responsible for enterprise risk management and supporting the private equity and real estate fund administration and corporate services groups in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His responsibilities will also extend to State Street AIS operations in London, Guernsey, Luxembourg and Dublin.
Prior to his move to State Street, Paul Mundy was in senior management role in risk management at the Royal Bank of Scotland International in Jersey for more than 13 years, most recently as director of risk, service and operations in corporate banking, a post he held since 2007.
He began his finance career in 1982 with Chase Manhattan Bank and he has wide ranging institutional banking experience in global custody services, operations and securities lending.
