Hawksford’s HR is to be driven by a new Global Head of People.

Sharon De Mendonca, who has over 20 years of experience in the sector, will take on the new role. Qualified in Human Resource Management, Sharon has held various positions at First Names Group, Ogier and Ogier Fiduciary Services,

She will now take over the strategic direction of Hawksford’s HR across Jersey and Asia.

Sharon said that she was “delighted” to join Hawksford, and looked forward to building on Hawksford’s training and coaching programmes, which have seen it accredited as a STEP Platinum Employer and gain a Gold qualification from the Learning and Performance Institute.

“It is great to have the opportunity to join at this exciting point in the company’s journey and to be able to assist in driving it forward. I will be able to focus on ensuring that Hawksford’s HR strategies align with the business objectives in the short, medium and long term,” she said.

CEO Michel van Leeuwen added: “We are very happy to welcome Sharon to Hawksford. She demonstrates a strong commercial focus and has extensive global business partnering and operational experience within fast paced global organisations – experience which will be an asset to us as we continue on our growth trajectory.
