The Jersey Financial Services Commission has announced two new senior appointments within its Supervision division.
Jill Britton has joined the JFSC as Director of Supervision for Investment, Insurance, Funds, Trust, Money Service Businesses, and Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBP) and also assumes a position on the Executive Board, while Andrea John has been appointed Head of Banking.
Ms Britton returns to the JFSC having previously worked in Supervision from 2002 to 2004. With more than 25 years of experience in financial services in the UK, Jersey and Asia, she has spent the last 15 years specialising in compliance and operational risk management.
Ms John has worked in financial services regulation in the UK for nine years, primarily at the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and more recently at the Prudential Regulation Authority. She has supervised a wide variety of UK deposit-takers and other regulated firms, and contributed to numerous investigations.
