VG has added to its corporate team with three new appointments.

Gabriela Jakubczyk, Matthew Hibbs and Zach O’Shea are all joining the firm.

Ms Jakubczyk, who is currently studying towards the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction, joins VG as Associate Director in the corporate team where she will work alongside Steve Langan, Director of Corporate and Capital Markets.

She joins from Aztec Group, a fund and corporate services provider to the alternative assets industry, where she spent two years as a senior client relationships manager specialising in private equity. She has also held managerial roles within the corporate and capital markets teams at Intertrust Group and Crestbridge.

Mr Hibbs joins VG’s corporate team as Manager, bringing 14 years’ experience of traditional trust and company administration. He most recently worked at Pentera Trust Company in Jersey, and held roles at the Royal Bank of Canada’s wealth management division in Jersey and Ogier.

Meanwhile, Mr O’Shea joins VG as a trust officer from Oak Group, where he administered a portfolio of companies, trusts, registered offices, and other entities. He has also held roles at JTC Trust Company and Minerva Trust Company. Mr O’Shea holds the CGI Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration.

Stephen Langan, Director of Corporate and Capital Markets at VG, commented: "The addition of Gabriela, Matthew and Zach will greatly assist our push forward into 2022. Having worked previously with Gabriela and Matthew, I am confident that their experience and technical expertise across a wide range of areas will complement our existing and new business structures."
