Socially responsible investing will be one of the hot topics at this year's Private Client and Wealth Management Conference.
Taking place on 3 December, the event organised by BPP will discuss the challenges the industry is currently facing, including technological developments, enhanced fiduciary responsibility, and a variety of regulatory burdens.
Amy Bryant, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Finance, will be one of the many industry experts presenting at the event. She will speak about ‘Jersey’s SRI Journey’.
"Socially responsible investing (SRI) is any investment strategy which seeks to consider both financial return and social/environmental good to bring about a positive change. And, fuelled by inter-generational wealth transfers, its experiencing strong growth globally," she explained.
"Jersey’s credentials as a leading international finance centre are perfectly suited to serving this growing market. And whilst Jersey has been active in this vital area for some time, it’s one we continue to focus on, helping create a better future for everyone.”
