A Jersey accountant has won a prestigious prize for achieving the highest mark in the British Isles in her accountancy exams.
Philippa Highfield (21), who works for Reads & Co in Jersey, won first place in the London Society of Chartered Accountants awards for exam results.
The prize is given to the candidate working for a firm with six partners or fewer in the LSCA area who achieves the highest marks in the ICAEW Professional Stage Examination over the annual sittings in the year up to the September exam.
Philippa received her prize at a dinner in London in February. She joined Reads & Co in 2012 after completing her A-Levels at Hautlieu.
