AFM are committed to supporting our local communities across the Channel Islands with a dedicated Community Support Committee in both Guernsey and Jersey. The committees meet regularly to discuss support and fundraising ideas for our chosen charity and also consider other charity support initiatives.
Following an internal section process, a charity is chosen for AFM to partner each the year within Guernsey and Jersey. The chosen charity will receive donations raised through various fundraising schemes conducted throughout the year. Some of the recent fundraising initiatives we have undertaken in the last year include a charity weight loss challenge, dress down days, cake sales, Christmas raffle and property upgrades where required. Where possible we will also offer support by volunteering, assisting with the purchase of equipment and raising the profile of the charity within our local community.
To apply you must be a member of the Association of Guernsey / Jersey Charities and you must support people, animals or activity in your Island. All applications will be considered and the closing date is Friday 23rd November 2018.
