Appleby has joined forces with Durrell to sponsor the Superhero Safari as part of the Durrell Challenge and Really Wild Day.
Taking place on 13 May, the Superhero Safari is a new adventure, where children aged 10 and under will be invited to complete a secret mission for Durrell.
The Mission: Young adventurers will need to seek out all the superhero animals at the Zoo and discover their unique superpowers. Each child will receive a mission booklet with questions on the superpowers of each animal.
Once their mission is complete, children must return their booklet to mission control where it will be checked. If all answers are correct their name will be entered into a SUPER prize draw for the chance to meet Superman himself, Henry Cavill.
Appleby Jersey Office Managing Partner, Wendy Benjamin commented: “We are really excited to sponsor the Superhero Safari as part of Durrell’s Really Wild Day. The work that Durrell does both locally here, through Jersey Zoo and globally through its many projects around the world is critical to saving species from extinction. We believe that the Superhero Safari provides an excellent opportunity for young people to learn about the species that Durrell work tirelessly to protect.”
Entrance to the Superhero Safari is £10 for adults and £5 for children under 10-years-old, booking is advised. More information is available at www.durrell.org
