Estera, a leading global provider of fiduciary and administration services, has been nominated for a prestigious award in recognition of its people-focused approach to employee motivation and change management.
The business has been nominated in the ‘Most Successful Change Management Programme’ category of the 2017 CIPD Jersey Awards, which recognise organisations that have undergone significant change. The judging panel assess the case for change, its communication, implementation and measurement, and its overall impact to employees.
Since the management buyout of Appleby Fiduciary Business in December 2015, Estera has experienced significant change. They have launched a new brand, acquired several businesses and increased head count considerably.
Estera’s HR team were an integral part of managing this change, overhauling the annual appraisal procedures to align employees with Estera’s vision as an independent business and to positively impact performance.
The initiative was successfully implemented across the group of 400 people in 11 jurisdictions.
Estera CEO Farah Ballands said: “Employee engagement and buy-in in our appraisal system has been a key driver in managing change and ensuring that we achieve our vision. To be recognised by the CIPD is a great welcome and is down to the hard work and dedication of those individuals who have driven the programme, ensuring its successful implementation.
We wish all the nominees an enjoyable evening and the best of luck at the awards.”
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in November.
