The team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is celebrating having received one of the top awards in the hospitality industry at the AA Awards ceremony last night.
The beachside hotel in St Brelade has been awarded Four AA Red Stars, a sign of the “Inspector’s Choice” which puts it among the very best in the UK. Jersey now plays host to just tfour hotels that have been awarded Red Stars, Longueville Manor, The Atlantic Hotel and The Club Hotel & Spa and now L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa.
Mr Miller who collected the hotel’s Red Star certificate said, “We’re incredibly proud to receive this very special award, one described by the AA as its supreme accolade, it is real testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team. Realising this ambition is the culmination of three years hard work, having set the achievement of Red Stars as a key business objective for L’Horizon shortly after I was appointed as General Manager of the hotel in 2014.”
Now in its 20th year, the glittering awards ceremony, held last night at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, celebrates England’s top hotels, restaurants, and pubs and the people behind them. It also marks the release of the 2018 editions of the AA’s range of lifestyle guides; the AA Hotel Guide; AA Best Restaurant Guide and the AA B&B Guide.
Hand Picked Hotels has recently completed a £2m refurbishment at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, which extends to the hotel bedrooms, function spaces, lounge area and Spa. The property is now one of eleven in the Hand Picked Hotels collection, the UK’s leading independent country house hotel group, to be awarded the prestigious commendation.
