Jersey Bulls FC, the first Jersey-based football club to enter the English league system, has today unveiled CPA Global as its commercial sponsor for the 2019-20, and 2020-21 seasons.
The partnership will see CPA Global, the world’s leading intellectual property (IP) management and technology company link up with Jersey’s newest football team. The Bulls are joining the Combined Counties Football League, becoming the southernmost club in English football.
Jersey-headquartered CPA Global will feature prominently on the Bulls’ home and away first team shirts, as well as on stadium advertising boards and in matchday programmes.
The Bulls’ home shirt, featuring the CPA Global logo, was launched today at the club’s Springfield stadium (see photo below). The shirt will be worn for the first time in the Jersey Bulls’ inaugural match against visiting Stevenage FC on Saturday 6 July.
The announcement comes as part of CPA Global’s programme of activities throughout 2019 celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary.
Simon Webster, Chief Executive Officer of CPA Global, commented:
“As CPA Global celebrates its 50th anniversary year, we’re excited to be partnering with English football’s newest team. As a company immersed in the global technology and innovation sector, we’re proud to support new challengers like Jersey Bulls. As a Jersey-headquartered business, with a significant employee base on the island, we’re also keen to support our local community. This new partnership is a perfect fit for us.”
Russell Le Feuvre, Director and Chairman of Jersey Bulls FC, said:
“Jersey Bulls FC are excited to announce CPA Global as our headline sponsor for our debut league season which starts in August. The generous support of CPA Global will enable us to create an historical chapter in local sport and provide Jersey football players with the opportunity to compete in the English leagues.
“On July 6th we play our first pre-season friendly against professional outfit Stevenage FC at Springfield Stadium. At the beginning of August, the island will see its first ever football fixture in one of the most powerful league systems in world sport.
“To have the chance to test themselves regularly in an English League is something the Island’s top footballers have requested for several years. We are delighted to be working in partnership with the world-renowned company CPA Global as we begin our journey into the English National Football Leagues.”
