The team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa will be donning their festive knits this week as part of a massive effort to help save children’s lives.
Staff at the AA Four Red Star beachside hotel in St Brelade will be joining thousands of people all over the country who are dressing up in their winter woollies for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 15th December.
They’ll be going big and bold with all sorts of festive fair isle and novelty knits and donating £2 each to this year’s campaign, helping bring essential healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children in need around the world.
Simon Miller, General Manager of Hand Picked Hotels Jersey said, “We’re delighted to be supporting Save the Children’s annual fundraising campaign, making the world better with a sweater!
“We all like an excuse to get the Christmas jumper out but this really is for a great cause, helping give children the basics we all take for granted and protecting them from easily preventable but deadly diseases like malaria and pneumonia.
“The whole team is looking forward to taking part in the festive fun and we hope that this year’s campaign will really help some children in desperate need just be children again.”
