PR and communications consultancy, Liquid, has won two awards at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Wessex and Channel Islands PRide Awards in Southampton for its work with Hawksford.
Liquid’s managing director, Jason MacKenzie, said:
“It is great that PR campaigns originating in Jersey continue to be recognised by leading trade bodies as being among the best in the country. To be awarded gold for ‘best use of media relations’ and silver for ‘corporate and business communications’ is satisfying – and brings the total of national and regional awards we’ve won for our work with Hawksford to five this year.”
The CIPR PRide Awards, sponsored nationally by Precise, PRWeek and RedBrand/Specialist Speakers, receive entries from freelancers, consultancies and in-house teams across 12 UK regions and nations. The judging process for the PRide Awards is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.
CIPR President Sue Wolstenholme, commented: “The Wessex and Channel Islands CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the very best public relations campaigns, teams and individuals from across the region. The exceptional quality of entries received this year is a real testament to the thriving industry in the Channel Islands and the wider Wessex region. The CIPR PRide Awards represent the best, most creative and most effective public relations work across the UK regions and nations and to win two awards is a great achievement for Liquid.”
This is the third year in a row that Liquid has been recognised in the Wessex and Channel Islands PRide Awards. Liquid’s Jersey PR director, Lisa Gutcher, won ‘outstanding young communicator’ in the same awards in 2011, before going on to win the national CIPR Excellence ‘outstanding young communicator’ award in 2012.
