The research-based Master’s is studied part-time over 2 years, allowing students to fit their study and research around work and home commitments. The programme is awarded by the University of Buckingham, one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom. Applications are still being accepted for October 2017.
Chris Usher, chief executive officer of Jersey International Business School, commented:
“The Master’s programme gives students the opportunity to develop higher-level cognitive skills which will support them throughout their professional development and enhance their career prospects.
Studying for a Master’s can be daunting and JIBS are proud to support students through their academic studies. All students are provided with both a first and second supervisor, together with an academic support officer. The programme gives students the opportunity to work closely with leading academics in their area of specialism, and also with industry professionals.”
Students will have unlimited access to the Business School’s range of CPD seminars and events during the course of the Master’s, which will allow them to undertake their mandatory CPD whilst they develop their body of work.
In addition, the University Centre will host regular Academic Dinners for Master’s students. These will comprise seminars on financial services, delivered by leading academic authorities and practitioners, followed by dinner. The Dinners will support learning and subject matter research in order to further develop understanding.
Interested students should already hold a first degree, or have a relevant professional qualification with a minimum of three years’ work experience. Tuition fees for the two-year programme are £10,950.
