From an open garden to a really wild day, bouncy castles and storytelling, there is plenty to enjoy outdoors this weekend.

Each week, Bailiwick Wellbeing shares a selection of sporty and community local events for you to get involved in.

Here are the top picks...

Genuine Jersey Market

Where? Parish Hall, St. Aubin

What? Wares from local producers and craft workers will be on display in St. Aubin inside and in front of the parish hall. All goods sold by Genuine Jersey Members will have been crafted, brewed, baked or processed by the stall holder, so come soak up the atmosphere while celebrating Jersey's finest.

Really Wild Day

When? Sunday 14 May – from 09:30

Where? Jersey Zoo

What? Whether you are running for the Durrell Challenge or not, come to Jersey Zoo for a fun-filled family day, with live music, circus performances, rides and activities. Food and drink will be available at Café Firefly and Café Dodo.

La Fête du R’nouvé

When? Sunday 14 May – 10:00 to 16:00

What? Chill out to a programme of acoustic sounds, storytelling and poetry, with good food and great company in the shadow of one of the oldest buildings in the world. Bring a picnic rug and hang out with Jersey Heritage for the day.

Open Garden

Entrance is £5 per person, and children under 12 are free. All funds help provide safe accommodation for young people between the ages of 18-25 who might otherwise be homeless in Jersey.

There will also be a tombola and nature trail with bird experts, and cream teas will be served all afternoon.

Family Fun Day
