Where? Start from Les Quennevais Cycle Sports Centre
What? Macmillan Jersey is taking over Jersey parkrun on Saturday as part of its "Get Together for Good" week, which aims to bring islanders together, and celebrate the community spirit in the island all whilst benefitting islanders affected by cancer in any way.
When? Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October
Where? Various locations around town including Parade Gardens and Royal Square.
What? The Corn Riots Festival, La Folle d’Avoût, which celebrates a series of reforms sparked by hundreds of islanders storming the Royal Court in a protest against power 251 years ago, is returning this weekend with a variety of events.
Some of the highlights include a Norman market on the Parade Gardens open from 09:00 to 18:00 and a march at 13:00 from Trinity Church to walk in the footsteps of past rioters to the Royal Square, where there will be live music all weekend.

Where? Chateau Vermont, Le Mont Sohier, St. Saviour
What? A 24-hour playathon in aid of Autism Jersey. Organised by Jersey Academy of Music, it will involve many local musicians of all genres and ages, including solo performances, bands, choirs, and orchestras all very welcome.
When? Saturday 1 October at 18:15
Where? St. Peter’s Community Centre
What? Join Bingo Buddies for their October bingo event, which will raise money for St. John Ambulance.
When? From Saturday 1 to Sunday 9 October.
Where? Link Gallery at Jersey Museum
What? A week-long exhibition featuring photographic responses to geological sites of special interest (SSI) in Jersey from A-level photography students at Hautlieu School.
