What? The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a discreet tool to signal to others that the wearer has a hidden disability and may need some help, extra time, patience and understanding. The Government of Jersey is hosting a series of events to celebrate being a hidden disabilities sunflower friendly island. This will include an art competition, face painting, inclusive art and a scavenger hunt.

What? Join Jersey Hospice Care for a special evening as they illuminate St. Brelade’s Beach with candles. The event aims to give islanders the opportunity to join with friends, family and as a community, to reflect, celebrate and remember loved ones.

What? Join the Jersey Youth Choir for an evening of ABBA songs. You will not only get to hear all the hits from the Swedish band but you will also be supporting the Choir’s future projects.

What? Come and see the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s tall ship Tenacious, the only sea-going tall ship that can be sailed by a mixed ability crew including people with disabilities.On Sunday, visitors will be able to take a free tour of the vessel between 13:30 and 17:30.
If you haven’t been to Queen’s Valley Reservoir to see Luke Jerram’s Floating Earth, this weekend is your last chance. Lit 24/7, the globe is on display until Sunday 24 September and the soundtrack will be audible from 08:00 to 22:00 each day.
