Catherine's passion and love for jewellery design ignited during her childhood, where she honed her skills crafting wood in her father's workshop. Over time, she has been fortunate enough to transform this passion into a fulfilling career. After completing her education, Catherine returned to her roots in Guernsey and began crafting her first jewellery pieces, showcasing them at craft fairs and gradually building a dedicated clientele. Eventually, she found her way to the enchanting Mill in Guernsey, further establishing her presence in the industry.
In 2003, Catherine realised her dream by opening the Jersey showroom and workshop within the picturesque Windmill located in St. Peter. Now celebrating 20 years of business in Jersey, this idyllic setting provides the perfect backdrop to admire Catherine's truly unique designs, which draw inspiration from the beauty of the Channel Islands, the vibrant colours of the sea, bays, and landscapes. It is within this inspiring environment that she creates exquisite, modern jewellery using rare and luxurious gemstones, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces that speak to individuality.
In Jersey, visitors can explore a curated collection of pendants, rings, bracelets, and distinctive statement pieces and with prices starting from £47 to £121 for silver and gold pieces respectively, Catherine Best ensures there is something for everyone to cherish and enjoy.
