Aurigny is pleased to announce the introduction of a new ATR 72-500 to its fleet.
The fully refurbished aircraft, which replaces the old ATR 72-200 (‘DB’), is fitted with 72 new, all forward-facing seats that give additional legroom.
“The old ATR served the airline well, however the opportunity arose to sell it to a cargo company giving us the chance to upgrade to a more modern ATR that is in the same configuration as our other ATRs and will provide our customers with an improved travel experience. This aircraft will give us more options and flexibility during times of disruption and help improve our reliability,” said Mark Darby, Aurigny Chief Executive Officer.
Leased from Nordic Aviation Capital the aircraft should enter service on Thursday 17th November.
