Carey Olsen has been named Guernsey Law Firm of the Year 2016 in the 3rd Annual Who’s Who Legal Awards.
The accolade recognises the offshore law firm’s achievements within the global legal market alongside international firms such as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Clifford Chance and Herbert Smith Freehills.
The annual event, which was held this year at New York's University Club on 11 April, recognises firms and individuals across 60 jurisdictions who have performed exceptionally well over the last 12 months.
Who’s Who Legal also produces an annual independent market report on the international legal sector. Results are based on research among private practice lawyers and general counsel in all the major jurisdictions to identify firms and lawyers who are considered to be leaders in their field by clients and peers.
