Collas Crill was named 'Guernsey Law Firm of the Year' at last night's 2017 Citywealth International Financial Centre (IFC) awards.
Now in their sixth year, the IFC awards were established to highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector in the major financial centres.
Fiduciary Partner Angela Calnan said: "We have had some really technical, bespoke mandates in the last year which have been challenging and also very rewarding. We really do go the extra mile for our clients and we are so proud to have been recognised for it this year."
The awards were judged by an international panel of practitioners from all sectors, working with advisors in all the relevant jurisdictions. Additionally, members of the public contributed through an online vote which carried the weight of one additional judge.
Jason Romer, Group Managing Partner, said: "This win is a testament to the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of our fiduciary and private client team. The continued endorsements from the wealth management industry and the awards that we have received can be attributed to the international practice we have built and the bespoke service our firm delivers.”
This follows the Citywealth Future Leaders awards that saw partner Kellyann Ozouf win the gold award for Lawyer of the Year - IFC Partner, senior associate Kerrie Le Tissier win the silver award for Lawyer of the Year - IFC Associate and group partner Angela Calnan take home the bronze award for Outstanding Individual of the Year.
Karen Jones, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Citywealth, said: "Collas Crill has a longstanding reputation for excellence. It is good to see them maintain this edge against stiff competition. My congratulations to their personable and engaging team."
