Strengthening its position as the leading Channel Island advertising and marketing agency, Oi has made four new hires in Guernsey. The engagements follow a successful year of new client wins including the agency’s appointment as the retained creative, digital and marketing agency for Aurigny, Deutsche Bank, EY and Milaidhoo Island in the Maldives.
These new hires mark a dynamic period of growth for Oi. Pip Queripel, Head of Oi, Guernsey, is thrilled with the new additions to her growing team. ‘Together they bring a whole new level of expertise to the Guernsey based offering. Aside from being extremely talented people they also have that ineffable Oi quality that sets our agency apart from the rest,’ she said.
Natalie de Woolfson has taken on the role of Editor of Aurigny’s inflight magazine, En Voyage, Lucy James and Jo McMinn have both joined the account handling team as Account Managers whilst Claire Lincoln has joined as a Production Designer.
A talented editor and graphic designer, Natalie de Woolfson has true creative flair plus over nine years’ experience - three of which were spent as Editor of Blue Islands’ Blue Skies Magazine. On joining Oi, Natalie said, ‘I’m really pleased to be joining the agency at such an exciting time. I want to steer En Voyage to success, and see the whole publication come to life from concept through to publication.’
Jo McMinn brings over eight years of senior marketing experience to the account management team, including managing multi-platform campaigns across the UK and working with a well-known retail business in Guernsey. On her new role, Jo said, ‘I am a multi-tasker and I’m ready to ensure high standards are maintained for all of Oi’s clients, thriving on the full-throttle nature of agency life.’
Lucy James joins Oi with strong marketing agency experience and a love of photography, all of which has seen her develop campaigns and materials for local and global brands including Specsavers, Visit Guernsey, and Insight Vacations. ‘I love the variety that comes with working on a range of local and international clients,’ said Lucy. ‘I’m looking forward to working on high profile accounts, and producing engaging campaigns for my clients.’
Claire Lincoln originally trained as a visual merchandiser and has since gained extensive experience in the design industry including working for one of the largest independent builders’ merchants in the UK and producing award winning work for Bayer. ‘Having always worked in-house, it’s refreshing to work for an agency with a caring culture, alongside like-minded creatives on some big upcoming projects,’ said Claire.
