Four employees of Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries in Guernsey and Switzerland have been listed in the 2016 Citywealth Future Leaders 100.

The list is the publication’s second annual compilation of rising stars under the age of 40 in the wealth management sector globally.

Greta Allman and Nick Ford are both trust managers in the Saffery Champness Guernsey office while Ross Belhomme and Paul Tucknott are executive directors in the Swiss office. They are four of the 24 listed in the trustees category.

Those listed were selected after extensive editorial research and following recommendations from industry peers, charities and ultra high net worth clients. The list recognises the study and commitment that has enabled them to advance in the industry.

Saffery Champness managing director Nick Batiste said: “We have a strong culture of developing the people in our business to enable them to achieve their full potential. Those listed as Citywealth Future Leaders are great examples of this and I hope they will inspire their younger colleagues in the business.”

This year has seen Saffery Champness win the ‘Trust Company of the Year - Institutional’ category at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2016, the ‘Independent Trust Company’ category at the Wealthbriefing European Awards and a silver award in the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activity of the Year’ category at the Citywealth Brand Management and Reputation awards.

The firm has been shortlisted in the ‘Trust Company of the Year’ category of the 2016/17 STEP Private Client Awards, and ‘Guernsey Trust Company of the Year’ category of the Citywealth IFC Awards 2017.

It has also been shortlisted for a number of 2017 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards: ‘Company of the year: Female Leadership (Professional Services’) and director Lisa Vizia for ‘Woman of the year: Business Growth (Professional Services)’ and ‘Woman of the Year: Leadership (Professional Services, IFC)’.

The firm has received bronze awards in the ‘Company of the year: Female Leadership (Professional Services)’ category for two years running. This will also be the third year in a row that Miss Vizia has been shortlisted for the ‘Woman of the year: Business Growth (Professional Services)’ award.
