Collas Crill Trust has strengthened its board with the appointments of Tim Parkes and James Rouget.

Tim has joined the board of Collas Crill Trust as a non-executive director. Tim's extensive experience in financial services has included the role of managing director at both Barclays Private Clients and Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, chief executive of Carey Commercial Holdings, part of Carey Group, and director of RAW Capital Partners.

James joins the firm as director of client services with responsibility for leading the team on all high-profile/complex cases, the ongoing training and development of the client-facing team and all legal, regulatory and risk management obligations.

Local to Guernsey, James has a broad knowledge of the fiduciary sector having previously worked for leading firms including Royal Bank of Canada, Barings, Rea Brothers/Close Private Bank and, most recently, Lancaster Trustees.

Managing director of Collas Crill Trust, Matt Litten, said: "It's been an important year for the development of Collas Crill Trust and this demonstrates our continued focus to grow the business organically as well as through strategic aquisitions. I am certain that James and Tim will bring a huge amount of passion and expertise to the team."
