Collas Crill has strengthened its dispute resolution department in Guernsey with the appointment of Quentin Bregg.
Quentin, who qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2010 with Maclay Murray & Spens LLP, has joined the firm as associate, specialising in complex commercial litigation with a focus on financial services, insolvency, and regulatory disputes.
Prior to joining Collas Crill, Quentin practiced at Brodies LLP in its business disputes and asset recovery team and recently completed a secondment working in-house in the litigation team of a large global bank, where he dealt with a variety of commercial disputes.
He regularly advises clients on a variety of commercial disputes, including those involving contracts, debt recovery, insolvency and professional negligence.
As well as being a Notary Public in Scotland, he is a member of INSOL International and the Law Society of Scotland.
Partner Christian Hay, who heads up the dispute resolution team in Guernsey, said: "2016 was an extremely busy year for our dispute resolution practice in Guernsey, particularly in the areas of trusts litigation and regulatory disputes and investigations, so we are expanding our team to reflect this.
"We're very pleased to welcome Quentin to the team. His commercial litigation experience will complement our existing practices well."
