Investec Private Banking grows Guernsey team

Investec Private Banking has appointed six new members of staff in Guernsey to support the continued growth of the business.

James Torode and Emma Wright join the Private Client team with responsibility for UK Resident Non-Domiciled & International Clients, and clients based outside of the UK respectively; Gordon Irish also joins the Private Client Services team, focusing upon leading and further developing the Guernsey-based private client business; Sean Gauvain has been appointed Executive Mortgage Manager with responsibility for maintaining and developing the Guernsey mortgage book; Jane Niles has become Head of Corporate Client Lending; and Daniella Sargent has joined the bank as Operational Risk Manager, ensuring management practices are in line with Group and Regulatory requirements. 

Stephen Henry, Managing Director of Investec Private Banking in the Channel Islands said, "Our business continues to grow in the Channel Islands and these appointments reflect Investec Private Banking's focus on recruiting the right people to deliver the level of service our clients demand, and demonstrate our commitment to building successful teams in Jersey and Guernsey. The Investec Private Client team offers personal banking services to professionals and high net worth individuals, who are residents in Jersey or Guernsey, who earn either £100,000 and/or have a net asset value of £1m.
