Mourant Ozannes Guernsey Managing Partner Jessica Roland has won a Gold Award in the Woman of the Year: Leadership (Professional Services/IFC) category at the Citywealth Awards.
The awards were announced at a gala dinner in London attended by business leaders from across the UK, representing a diverse range of industry sectors.
The announcement comes just a month after Advocate Roland was also elevated to the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 200 list, with four of her fellow Mourant Ozannes partners.
The Citywealth Power Women Awards spotlight individuals and companies who support care giving responsibilities, female leadership and celebrate diversity. The Awards recognise individuals and companies who maximise the potential of women in leadership roles within the wealth sector to create a platform for best practice to collectively exercise positive social influence in their industry.
On receiving the Gold Award, Jessica Roland said: "This is obviously a great honour for me personally, but it also reflects the ethos of Mourant Ozannes to promote equality and excellence in everything we do. I am delighted to receive this accolade, which was voted for by my peers, colleagues and clients."
Mourant Ozannes Global Managing Partner Jonathan Rigby said: "As the Managing Partner of our highly successful Guernsey office and a member of the firm's global Management Committee, Jessica makes an outstanding contribution to the leadership and management of our business and is a role model to others. We are extremely pleased that her contribution has been recognised in this way. At Mourant Ozannes we are committed to achieving greater diversity within the partnership and the leadership team and I hope that this award will inspire many of our female lawyers to follow in Jessica's footsteps."
