Ravenscroft has appointed a new head of compliance with more than three decades of experience in the finance sector.
Tracy Spence will lead Ravenscroft’s compliance team as the business continues to focus on growth and expansion. Her role also encompasses being compliance officer for Ravenscroft Investment Management Limited and the deputy money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) for Guernsey regulated entities.
‘Ravenscroft operates to the highest standards, and our compliance team is key part of delivering that commitment. Tracy brings with her years of invaluable experience and regulatory expertise and qualifications, which will help further underpin our growth,’ said group managing director Mark Bousfield.
‘She will also support compliance team colleagues when it comes to continuing professional development. It’s something that Ravenscroft is passionate about because it benefits not just our staff, but critically clients as well.’
With more than 32 years of industry experience, Mrs Spence holds an ICA International Diploma in Compliance as well as a first class honour degree in financial services. She was educated at the Guernsey Grammar School and spent 17 years at Deutsche Bank where she covered investment, banking and investment licensees and was the MLRO for all Guernsey entities.
