Ogier Senior Associate Paul Chanter was called to the Guernsey Bar this morning.
Paul joined Ogier in 2014 after working as a finance associate in a leading international law firm. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2009.
His practice includes advising on banking, derivatives, corporate, finance and restructuring transactions, predominantly of a multi-jurisdictional nature.
Paul advises global investment banks in respect of industry standard documentation produced by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, the International Capital Markets Association and the International Securities Lending Association.
He said: “I am exceptionally pleased to have been admitted as an Advocate in such a fantastic jurisdiction. I am extremely grateful for all of the support I have received from my family, friends, pupil master and Ogier.”
