Ormer FC’s junior teams have secured their first official shirt sponsorship deal with local telecoms company Sure.
The deal has been announced ahead of the Ormer FC Under-13 team’s match against an academy side from Premier League AFC Bournemouth on Saturday 19 November in the UK.
The Sure logo will be positioned on Ormer FC’s red away shirts alongside the club’s badge.
A centre of excellence for young footballers, Ormer FC was established in 2014 with the intention of giving local players specialist training and the chance to compete against teams from the UK.
Jessica Mauger, PR and marketing manager at Sure, said: “We’ve been watching Ormer FC’s youth teams record some amazing results for a while now and wanted to support them as they take on a wide variety of UK teams in the Junior Premier League.
“Ormer FC is a fantastic ambassador for the island and we’re proud to be associated with them. We wish the teams every success for the rest of the season ahead as they look to keep up their brilliant form.”
Russ Hamon, manager at Ormer FC, said: “Everyone at Ormer FC would like to thank Sure for coming on board and supporting the team as our first official shirt sponsors.
“Sponsorship plays a key part in us being able to offer these opportunities to some of the most promising young players on the island and it’s great that Sure has chosen to back us.
“The branded kits look fantastic and the boys are very excited to wear them for the first time at their next big game.”
