Helen Green and Lisa Vizia, directors of Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries in Guernsey, have been recognised for the fourth year running in Citywealth’s IFC Power Women Top 200.

The list recognises and celebrates women of influence in government, private wealth, the private client advisory sector and philanthropy across 24 international financial centres (IFCs).

The list is compiled after extensive research, recommendations and testimonials from leading figures in the financial services industry with the objective of championing women in the wealth sector and highlighting female leaders.

Mrs Green is responsible for client liaison, heading up a team which specialises in the formation and management of trust and company structures for both private and corporate clients. She has been a leading figure in Guernsey’s private client and trust sector for the past 15 years.

Miss Vizia heads up the dedicated family office team, managing offshore structures for ultra-high net worth families, with a particular focus on the Middle East. She is also responsible for the firm’s business development and leads the Guernsey office’s corporate social responsibility.

Managing director Nick Batiste said: “The continued presence of Helen and Lisa on this list is a testament to their level of expertise, ambition and professionalism and a celebration of some of the talent at Saffery Champness.”

Both directors were also recognised on Citywealth’s 2016 leaders list: Mrs Green is named in the UK and Crown Dependencies trustees honours list, with Miss Vizia listed as one of the top 20 trustees for the second year running. Mrs Green was also featured in ePrivateClient’s 2016 list of the 50 Most Influential private wealth professional advisers.

This year has seen Saffery Champness win ‘Trust Company of the Year Institutional’ at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2016, the ‘Independent Trust Company’ category at the Wealthbriefing European Awards and receive a bronze award in the ‘Company of the year award: Female Leadership (Professional services)’ category of the inaugural Citywealth Power Women Awards. The firm was also listed as one of the Top 25 Trust Companies in ePrivateClient’s ultimate rankings.
