Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries has once again been recognised for female leadership at the 2017 Citywealth Power Women awards.
For the third year running, the Guernsey firm secured the bronze award in the ‘Company of the Year: Female Leadership (Professional Services)’ category at a ceremony in London last night (8 February)
Saffery Champness director, Lisa Vizia, also received the silver award in the ‘Woman of the Year: Business Growth (Professional Services)’ category.
Miss Vizia said: “I’m honoured to have received this award against such strong candidates and represent Guernsey in this category.”
The awards were established in 2014 by editor and founder of international publication house Citywealth, Karen Jones, with the objective of championing women in the wealth sector and highlighting female leaders across all international financial centres (IFCs). All nominations were reviewed by a panel of 11 judges from within the private wealth sector.
Saffery Champness managing director, Nick Batiste, said: “We are a company that prides itself on our meritocratic culture with a strong focus on career progression and success, so it is great to be acknowledged for this and reflects the calibre of our staff and our continued growth.”
One of the largest fiduciary service providers, Saffery Champness is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Guernsey this year. Established in 1977 by one partner, the firm now employs more than 125 people who specialise in providing trust and company services to an international client base.
Miss Vizia and fellow director Helen Green were recently recognised for the fourth year running in Citywealth’s IFC Power Women Top 200 which celebrates women of influence in government, private wealth, the private client advisory sector and philanthropy across the IFCs.
