Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries in Guernsey has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2016 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.
The firm has been selected in the ‘Trust Company of the Year Institutional’ category while director Lisa Vizia has been nominated for ‘Trustee of the Year’. Saffery Champness’ UK business has also been shortlisted for ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year’.
The Magic Circle Awards, organised by the UK-based publisher of wealth-management industry news and directories Citywealth, brings together a top level group of elite advisers and managers in the international wealth industry.
Entries for each category were shortlisted by a judging panel featuring 10 global industry experts. The winners are then chosen by the panel of judges who make up 90% of the vote with the remaining 10% from online voting.
2016 marks the 11th Magic Circle Awards. Last year’s event attracted more than 400 attendees representing over 140 organisations including the leading law firms, trust companies, family offices, tax advisors, investment managers and bankers in the wealth sector to recognise the achievements of the industry during the past year.
Managing director of Saffery Champness, Nick Batiste, said: “Being shortlisted for this award acknowledges the hard work, enthusiasm and dedication of our team.
“I am especially pleased to see that Lisa has been shortlisted in the prestigious Trustee of the Year category, it is a testament to her commitment to Saffery Champness and her high standard of bespoke client service.”
Voting for this year’s Citywealth Magic Circle Awards closes on 20 April. The awards ceremony will take place on 12 May in London.
