Saffery Champness has promoted Allison Brouard to director of compliance.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the fiduciary sector, Mrs Brouard has been with Saffery Champness since 2007 where she initially joined as a client review manager before being promoted to compliance manager and senior compliance manager, respectively.
As director, Mrs Brouard’s promotion will see her responsible for ensuring that directors, management and staff of the Guernsey office are compliant with the requirements of the firm’s fiduciary, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, company policies and procedures.
She will continue to develop, maintain and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance programme and its related activities to ensure the highest standards of administration practice are delivered to clients day-to-day.
As the firm's deputy money laundering reporting officer in Guernsey, she liaises with regulators and law enforcement agencies and provides advice and training to staff on all compliance and anti-money laundering issues and supports the Geneva office on all compliance and anti-money laundering issues.
Mrs Brouard was made a fellow of the International Compliance Association last year, is a member of the Guernsey Association of Compliance Officers and has an ICA Diploma in Compliance.
Managing director Nick Batiste said: “Allison has been with Saffery Champness for almost ten years and has played a key role in the continued growth of our company.
We are committed to rewarding success, developing and promoting high calibre talent. Allison’s promotion is well-deserved as she continues to develop her career with our firm.”
