Sophie Robilliard, a former recipient of the Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management student bursary, has been appointed as Stockbroking Desk Assistant in Guernsey.
Miss Robilliard was chosen for the bursary scheme in 2012 which supported her to study mathematics at the University of Exeter and included paid work experience during university holidays. She joins the firm after graduating with a 2.1 honours degree in June this year.
During her holidays she worked in different areas of the company, developing a deeper understanding of the business and gaining valuable insight into the industry.
Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s bursary scheme was introduced to help local students achieve their academic potential while encouraging them to return to the island once they have graduated.
