For the seventh consecutive year Appleby attended the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), Europe’s largest and most important business aviation trade show. Camilla Hobbs once again represented the Guernsey office as one of Appleby’s global team of aviation experts, alongside Eleanor Harding from the firm’s Isle of Man office.
Camilla, from Appleby Guernsey’s Corporate department, said: “EBACE was again an opportunity to outline Appleby’s high-quality services to existing and new clients from around the world. Eleanor, from Appleby Isle of Man’s Corporate department, added: “Appleby attends numerous conventions around the globe throughout the year. EBACE was jointly hosted by the European Business Aviation Association and the National Business Aviation Association at Geneva’s Palexpo conference centre from 22 to 24 May 2017, showcasing hundreds of exhibiting companies and a static display of more than 60 aircraft, designed to highlight the best in the business aviation world and allow the tightly-knit business aviation community the opportunity to catch up on the latest developments and market insights. The Appleby contingent was among 13,000 business aviation professionals from more than 100 countries who attended.
As well as providing a platform for leading industry professionals to network and do business, EBACE also provides the opportunity to hear directly from leading voices in aviation on key topics and issues. These included the impact of Brexit on the aviation sector, reviews of the state of the industry, aviation leadership and enhancing security.
